President Meloni meets with Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chen Jining, in Shanghai today.
The meeting focused on economic and trade relations with the Province of Shanghai, which is home to the largest Italian business community.
President Meloni and Shanghai Party Secretary Chen Jining both expressed the desire to boost cooperation in key sectors such as industry, innovation, tourism and culture. They particularly focused on reciprocal investments being supported and consolidated, starting with small and medium-sized enterprises.

Visita ufficiale nella Repubblica Popolare Cinese
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, dal 28 al 31 luglio visita la Repubblica Popolare Cinese. Nel corso della prima giornata, l'incontro con il Primo Ministro della Repubblica Popolare Cinese Li Qiang , e l'intervento al Business Forum Italia - Cina a Pechino, dove ha presenziato alla Cerimonia di firma di accordi tra Italia e Cina.

Official visit to the People’s Republic of China
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, is on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from 28 to 31 July.
On Sunday 28, President Meloni met with the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Qiang, and addressed the Italy-China Business Forum in Beijing, where she also attended the signing ceremony for agreements between Italy and China.

Il Presidente Meloni incontra il Segretario del Partito Comunista Cinese della Municipalità di Shanghai
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato oggi a Shanghai il Segretario del Partito Comunista Cinese della Municipalità di Shanghai, Chen Jining. Al centro dei colloqui i rapporti economico-commerciali con la Provincia di Shanghai, che ospita la più ampia comunita' imprenditoriale italiana. Condivisa la volontà di rafforzare la collaborazione in settori chiave quali l'industria, l'innovazione, il turismo e la cultura. Una particolare attenzione è stata dedicata al sostegno e al consolidamento dei reciproci investimenti a partire dal tessuto delle Piccole e Medie Imprese.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, dal 28 al 31 luglio è in visita ufficiale nella Repubblica Popolare Cinese.
Nella giornata di domenica 28, il Presidente Meloni ha incontrato il Primo Ministro del Consiglio di Stato della Repubblica Popolare Cinese, Li Qiang, ed ha tenuto un intervento al Forum imprenditoriale Italia-Cina di Pechino, dove ha presenziato alla cerimonia della firma degli accordi tra Italia e Cina.

President Meloni meets with President Xi Jinping
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met in Beijing today with the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping. The two leaders discussed the positive development of relations between Italy and China in the context of the 20-year anniversary of the Global Strategic Partnership, stressing the importance of balanced, mutually beneficial cooperation based on reciprocal trust. During the meeting, the main issues on the bilateral agenda were also discussed, from matters regarding the economy and trade to collaboration in the fields of science and culture.
