President Meloni meets with Premier Li Qiang during official visit to China
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Qiang, in Beijing today.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations, in a year that marks two decades of the Global Strategic Partnership between Italy and China as well as the 700th anniversary of the death of Marco Polo.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato oggi a Pechino il Primo Ministro del Consiglio di Stato della Repubblica Popolare Cinese, Li Qiang. Al centro dei colloqui i rapporti bilaterali, in un anno segnato dal ventennale del Partenariato Strategico Globale fra Italia e Cina e dalla ricorrenza del 700° anniversario della scomparsa di Marco Polo.

Presentation of single SEZ strategic plan
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended today’s presentation of the strategic plan for the single Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the south of Italy, held at Palazzo Chigi.
Following the meeting, the Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto, held a press conference.

President Meloni’s statement on healthcare waiting lists
The Government’s decree regarding healthcare waiting lists has become law. After increasing the healthcare fund to its highest ever level, we have today taken further steps forward to guarantee citizens’ right to health. We are establishing a national monitoring of waiting lists, accompanied by an effective system of controls. With the regional centralised appointment booking system, we are expanding the services on offer, making available those provided both by the public health system and by accredited private healthcare providers...
