Comparto sicurezza, difesa e soccorso pubblico: un Consiglio dei Ministri dedicato alle misure economiche, ordinamentali e di tutela
In coerenza con l'attenzione che riserva alle Forze di polizia e alle Forze armate, il Governo prevede per i primi giorni di novembre un Consiglio dei ministri monotematico, che sarà dedicato alle misure di carattere economico, ordinamentale e di tutela degli appartenenti al comparto sicurezza, difesa e soccorso pubblico. Tale seduta sarà preceduta da un incontro del Presidente del Consiglio e dei Ministri competenti con i sindacati rappresentativi del comparto.

President Meloni meets with COP28 President-Designate Dr. Al Jaber
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the President-Designate of the UN Conference on Climate Change (COP28), Dr. Sultan Al Jaber. They agreed in particular on how climate change constitutes a major challenge to our planet and humankind and requires a strong and ambitious action by all countries to strengthen their respective 2030 Nationally Determined Contributions across all dimensions and at much faster pace, with a view to achieving the long-term goals under the Paris agreement

COP28, Meloni incontra Al Jaber
Il Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato oggi il Presidente designato della Conferenza delle Nazioni Unite sui cambiamenti climatici (COP28), Dr. Sultan Al Jaber. Hanno concordato in particolare su come i cambiamenti climatici rappresentino una sfida importante per il nostro pianeta e per l'umanità e richiedano un'azione forte e ambiziosa da parte di tutti i Paesi per rafforzare i rispettivi 2030 Contributi determinati a livello nazionale (NDC’S) in tutte le dimensioni e a un ritmo molto più rapido, al fine di raggiungere gli obiettivi di lungo termine previsti dall'Accordo di Parigi.

First three of today’s NRRP steering committee sessions held at Palazzo Chigi
The first three of today’s working sessions of the steering committee for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) have been held at Palazzo Chigi, chaired by the Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto. Among the items on the agenda were: verification of the achievement of the objectives for the fourth instalment; the monitoring of objectives for the fifth instalment; and, the proposal to reformulate the plan.

Fourth NRRP steering committee session on progress of Integrated Urban Plans
The fourth of today’s working sessions of the steering committee for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) has been held at Palazzo Chigi, chaired by the Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto, and attended by Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Economy and Finance Lucia Albano, Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of the Interior Emanuele Prisco and Metropolitan City mayors, to discuss the progress of implementation of Italy’s Integrated Urban Plans.

Fifth NRRP steering committee session held to check progress of early childhood education projects
The fifth of today’s working sessions of the steering committee for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) has been held at Palazzo Chigi, chaired by Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP Raffaele Fitto and attended by Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Economy and Finance Lucia Albano and Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara (who joined via video link), to check the progress of measures regarding nurseries and primary schools. This objective is currently being reported on as part of the payment request for the fourth instalment. The steering committee asked Municipalities, represented by ANCI [National Association of Italian Municipalities], to continue ensuring the utmost cooperation in order to complete the assessment phase and provide the certifications that will be requested by the European Commission as part of the procedure to evaluate the objectives met.

The last of today’s six working sessions of the steering committee for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), called by Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP Raffaele Fitto, has been held at Palazzo Chigi. The sixth session was attended by Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Economy and Finance Lucia Albano, Vice President of the Lombardy Region Marco Alparone, representatives from the Ministry for Regional Affairs, and President of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces Massimiliano Fedriga.

Cabina di Regia PNRR, quinto tavolo di lavoro per la verifica dello stato di attuazione dei progetti per le scuole della prima infanzia
La quinta sessione di lavoro della Cabina di regia PNRR, presieduta dal Ministro per gli affari europei, il Sud, le politiche di coesione e il PNRR, Raffaele Fitto, alla presenza del Sottosegretario per l’economia e le finanze, Lucia Albano e del Ministro dell’Istruzione e del Merito, Giuseppe Valditara, collegato da remoto, è risultata utile per una verifica dello stato di attuazione degli interventi relativi al piano degli asili nido e delle scuole dell’infanzia, obiettivo attualmente in fase di rendicontazione nell’ambito della richiesta di pagamento della quarta rata.
