Cabina di Regia PNRR, quarta sessione sullo stato di attuazione dei Piani Urbani Integrati
Si è svolta a Palazzo Chigi la quarta sessione di lavoro della Cabina di regia PNRR, presieduta dal Ministro per gli affari europei, il Sud, le politiche di coesione e il PNRR, Raffaele Fitto, alla presenza del Sottosegretario per l’economia e le finanze, Lucia Albano, del Sottosegretario all’interno, Emanuele Prisco e dei Sindaci delle Città Metropolitane, con all’ordine del giorno lo stato di attuazione dei Piani Urbani Integrati.

The joint statement issued by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni, President Joe Biden of the United States, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the United Kingdom, President Emmanuel Macron of France and Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany following their telephone meeting yesterday evening to examine the serious crisis following Saturday’s attack perpetrated by Hamas against the State of Israel.

A Palazzo Chigi sono terminate le prime tre sessioni di lavoro della Cabina di regia PNRR, presieduta dal Ministro per gli affari europei, il Sud, le politiche di coesione e il PNRR, Raffaele Fitto, con all’ordine del giorno la verifica in ordine al conseguimento degli obiettivi della quarta rata, il monitoraggio degli obiettivi della quinta rata e la proposta di rimodulazione del Piano.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, participated in a telephone meeting this evening with President Joe Biden of the United States, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the United Kingdom, President Emmanuel Macron of France and Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany, to examine the serious crisis following Saturday’s barbaric attack perpetrated by Hamas against the State of Israel.

NRRP: third instalment (EUR 18.5 bn) paid today. Minister Fitto: "Positive assessment by the European Commission on the 54 objectives met”
“The European Commission paid the third instalment of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) today, amounting to EUR 18.5 billion”, stated the Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto. “Payment of the third instalment follows the Commission’s positive assessment of the 54 milestones and targets that have been met in line with the Plan. This assessment was then confirmed by EU Member States in the Economic and Financial Committee and in the subsequent RRF Committee”, continued the Minister.

President Meloni’s telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, Najib Mikati. During the conversation President Meloni reaffirmed Italy’s willingness to continue contributing to Lebanon’s security and stability in this delicate situation.

Riunione della Cabina di regia del PNRR del 10 ottobre
La Cabina di regia PNRR, presieduta dal Ministro per gli affari europei, il Sud, le politiche di coesione e il PNRR, Raffaele Fitto, tornerà a riunirsi nella Sala Verde di Palazzo Chigi, per l’intera giornata di domani, martedì 10 ottobre, con la pianificazione di sei sessioni di lavoro dedicate, con all’ordine del giorno la rimodulazione del Piano, il monitoraggio degli obiettivi della quinta rata e la verifica in ordine al conseguimento degli obiettivi della quarta rata, che segue la richiesta di pagamento di 16,5 miliardi, inviata lo scorso 22 settembre alla Commissione europea.

Statement by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni on 41st anniversary of the Rome Synagogue attack
On 9 October 1982, during the festival of Shemini Atzeret, Rome’s Jewish community was hit by a terrible terrorist attack.
Forty people were injured and a little Italian boy, Stefano Gaj Taché, lost his life, aged just two.
A dark day, and a wound for the nation that is yet to heal. No one has paid for the grenades and machine gun fire that cut Stefano’s life short that day, that devastated a family and caused many others to suffer, shocking an entire community.
Today we renew our commitment to not forget what happened and to continue demanding the truth, in both historical and legal terms, about the facts of that terrible day.
Today more than ever, following the horrible, barbaric events taking place in Israel, the Government expresses its sympathy and solidarity with the Israeli people and Italian Jewish communities. Terror will never prevail.
